We added another Autumn concert in 2019 to commemorate 250 years since the death of George Frederich Handel. The stirring and emotional music of the Coronation Anthems perfectly complemented the acoustic environment at Christ Church. 

There are no solo parts in these anthems but we were thrilled to welcome Peter King who charmed us with his rendition of Handel’s Cuckoo and the Nightingale concerto, played on a beautiful baroque chamber organ.
