This was our first concert – originally intended as a ‘one-off’.  We were surprised and pleased to recruit 130 singers, and we performed the concert, accompanied by a very small chamber orchestra, in Christ Church, Frome to an appreciative audience. 

Our links with Jackdaws Music Education Trust enabled us to enjoy performances by some excellent soloists and we were able to show our appreciation by donating part of the concert profits to support their work.

At the end the singers were asking ‘what are we going to do next year?’…

And Frome Voices was born.
