Frome Voices returned to the Cheese and Grain on Sunday 23rd March with a performance of the Armed Man: A Mass for Peace by Sir Karl Jenkins, featuring professional soloists and orchestra.
The performance featuring works by British composers also included Michael Tippett’s spirituals from his oratorio A Child of our Time and a selection of songs by Edward Elgar. Vaughan Williams evocative orchestral piece The Lark Ascending completed the programme.
